I've been photographing Hannah and Mike for years. From their engagement portraits to their wedding day, and now portrait sessions as their sweet family continues to grow, I've been so lucky to share some of the most beautiful moments of their lives with them. Hannah has become one of my dearest friends over the years--a motherhood muse as well as a style inspiration (have you seen her home blog!?). We've shared zoo dates with our babes, had countless coffee dates & many, many late night text convos generally in response to yet another new mom query I have.

There are some people that you meet who instantly feel like old friends--and it's one of my favorite parts of connecting with my couples when we photograph. Before I visited with Kelly & Matt for their engagement session, we hadn't even had time for a Facetime session, but our "blind date" photo shoot is still one of my favorites of all time. Kelly had thought through all of the special locations they wanted to incorporate, and planned their outfits to a "t". Best of all, she was game to run through tall grass, stilettos and all, and thoroughly enjoyed Matt hoisting her onto his shoulders when I asked him to "scoop" her (still a favorite outtake)! I would be 1,000% in favor of them getting engaged to each other all over again, if we could make more pictures like these together. Here are just a few favorites from that beautiful summer day <3
